Washboard Abs Fast - 3 Essential Tips

Getting washboard abs is almost as elusive as bigfoot. You know they exist, but you just don't know where to find them. Ok, so maybe I'm the only person who really thinks bigfoot is real, but I KNOW that washboard abs are real and they can be found at a gym or beach near you. You've seen them, they look good and you want to get six pack abs for yourself. If you're looking for a 3 minute abs program that will get you a six pack overnight then you're in the wrong place and you'll most likely never get washboard abs because there are no shortcuts.
If you want to get washboard abs fast then you need to be willing to work and learn a few things. If you follow the right steps you can get ripped abs pretty quick.
So, what should you be doing to get results?
1. Focus on your nutrition and get it dialed in!
Without a clean diet and proper nutrition, washboard abs will never be yours! Nutrition is king when it comes to losing belly fat and getting ripped abs. While exercise is important, it will only take you so far and you will see limited results if you don't clean up your diet. You could do all the crunches and cardio you want, but if you have a layer of fat around your stomach you'll never see your abs.
Focus on getting plenty of protein, fiber (fruits, veggies, whole grains), and good fats in your diet. This will ensure that you're getting the fuel your muscles need to grow and keep your appetite under control. Also, you need to make sure you're maintaining a calorie deficit. This is the only way you will lose your belly fat...if you're eating more calories than you're burning everyday you will not lose fat.
2. Change up your routine and perform a variety of exercises
Performing the same exercises and routines day after day and week after week is a sure way to hit a plateau and flush your washboard abs dream down the drain.
Find new and fun ways to work your abs to keep them guessing. Squats, push ups, pull ups, and mountain climbers are all great exercises that work your abs that most people don't even think about!
By changing up your routine you will maximize your results and stay motivated.
3. Change up your cardio
The last step in getting washboard abs fast is to start doing high intensity, high quality cardio. You can stop spending hours and hours on the treadmill or elliptical. All you really need to do is 2-3 sessions of quality cardio a week.
Some examples of quality cardio include sprints, hill climbs, stair running, and intervals. Trust me...this is much more effective and will burn way more calories than your usual leisurely stroll on the treadmill!
